Lullaby to Hawnee and HooDoo
Louise and I received this video under a subject line of about singing to imaginary friends. The video is a great one, capturing the essential Skylar clearly including many of her facial expressions and perpetual motion antics. But ... there was no sound. After trying it a few ways, we emailed Auburn, who discovered that the microphone had gone out on her phone camera (it's Android).
So she did her best to recount what we were missing from the oral storyline:
That video was her belting out an ode to Hawn-ee, one of her imaginary buddies. Then she said Hawnee was her daughter who was two. Then i asked her how old Kee-Kee was....new friend as of a day or so...she said six. These are different ages from last night when she was singing happy b day to HooDoo and Hawnee who were both three....earlier this morning she said that she met these friends in her dream. In the video I asked her again where she met her friends and without skipping a beat she said Santa Rosa! So funny I couldn't stop laughing. We have never even been to Santa rosa but she has it in her head from Shee Shee I think.
Cliff Notes: Shee Shee is Sky's (and Aub's and Eric's) name for babysitter Sarah, who lives in Santa Rosa.
