Skylar has a cold. Ended up at the pediatric after hours clinic at the hospital today. She does not have a fever but b/c she is so young the advice nurse said we should come in. She had had a stuffy nose for 24 hours. The doc there was great. Basically we just need to ride it out and keep taking her temp. She sounds miserable and it is very upsetting. We are suctioning the snot, keeping her warm and giving lots of love. Now you are updated from the tired stressed new parents.
Sky is suffering from a snot filled nose. Or shall i say we are
suffering! So sad all day. This is tough. No fever though.
Skylar can still watch football with Dad and help him analyze stats for his fantasy league.
This sounds gross but a friend of mine would suck out the snot out of her baby's nose herself, said it worked much better than the suctioning thing. Probably not a good thing to post on the blog, but it might help
